Trump has handled this just fine.
Remember that it took Obama and Biden 6 months to even acknowledge the swine flu was a problem and it wasn't until after 2000 Americans died that they took the first action yet they were given a pass on that. Also, you can look at how Obama bumbled the BP oil spill and how long it took him to respond to that crisis yet Trump is criticized for not being able to predict this disaster before it happened?

We responded actually more quickly than any other nation has.
There was no actual need for that office and it was a waste of money and had it still existed not one thing would have been different.
It was overkill.
Having a department with a fancy name doesn't mean your response time is better. In fact, if you read your link it specifically states what a great job Obama did leading the fight against the Ebola Virus, without having this department in the first place.
That kind of doesn't make sense for the author to state why there was this drastic need for the department while not admitting any errors Obama made don't you think?

What I find hard to understand is why Trump is being held to a higher standard then is reasonable.

Because he "leads" and "governs" (and, yes, I am using those words very loosely) by petty vindictiveness, greed, and vanity. Sounds like I need to create a conspiracy forum for you. First of all, his rallies are already filled with those people and secondly, he only cares about his legacy, he already has plenty of money. Trump is a narcissist, he isn't driven by profit.
I know those people are at his rallies. And if he did something that reprehensible, they would still be there, cheeriing and chanting away. That's hardly a conspiracy theory.

If you researched them you would see that they weren't created to steal money away from anyone but many on the left don't actually care about the truth. Were they poorly run? Yes, but not with the purpose of defrauding people. Forbes put Trumps net worth, that they can actually count, at around 4 billion dollars. As I said previously, all he cares about is being known as the best president ever, or at least the ability to make that claim so he isn't going to risk that over making pocket change in this conspiracy you're bringing up. Also, when the major left-wing outlets are avoiding this story it should tell you how fishy it is because if there was any hint of truth to it then CNN would be running it 24/7.
